Wayne Rogers - Sports Therapist
Wayne was inspired to train as a sports therapist after suffering a running injury and receiving sports massage to treat his condition. He started his sports massage training in 2013 with our sister organisation Sports Therapy UK and within a year had passed the first stage of his professional exams. Since then his enthusiasm and appetite to learn continue to grow and inspire others including many dedicated clients.
Fuelled by his success and love of sports massage therapy he has progressed to higher level sports therapy qualifications and has broadened his learnings through courses in dry needling, acupuncture, and myofascial release. He is now fully engaged in the second year of an Osteopathy degree course.
In addition to practising sports therapy, Wayne is a member of the Sports Therapy UK teaching team where his passion, commitment, and people skills shine through; his most recent achievement has been to qualify as an assessor.
Currently injury-free, Wayne has continued running and regularly competes in long-distance events, always enjoying a personal best or even a shiny new medal.
