This is Version 1.0 of BeActive Clinic privacy policy, effective 25 May 2018. The following policy statement explains how BeActive Clinic protects the privacy of information transmitted over the Internet from visitors to our website ( www.beactiveclinic.co.uk ), or our mobile application, our branded pages on social media services, or any of the other sites (collectively referred to as internet sites) . BeActive Clinic takes the privacy of its website visitors and course attendees seriously and is committed to safeguarding user information in full compliance with law, as described in this privacy policy, which explains among other things: The personal information that BeActive Clinic collects from users of BeActive Clinic and the protections employed by BeActive Clinic in safeguarding such personal information.
Non-personal data
BeActive Clinic collects some generic information automatically, solely to help BeActive Clinic determine the success and usefulness of its internet sites. This generic information, which does not reveal the identity of the visitor, includes: the country of origin, time spent on the website, most and least popular pages, browser and operating system and the originating website of the visitor. This information aids BeActive Clinic improve its services by enhancing more popular areas of the website.
Personal data
BeActive Clinic only obtains specific data about visitors to its’ internet sites when such data is supplied voluntarily, e.g. when visitors send contact enquiries or places a booking. BeActive Clinic then uses the data for the purpose of fulfilling the visitors' requests. BeActive Clinic only collect personal data that are adequate, relevant and not excessive given the purposes for which they are collected.
BeActive Clinic may share data with trusted partners who provide professional services to help develop our sites and help us perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, or provide customer support. BeActive Clinic does not send junk (spam) email, although in some instances, when BeActive Clinic wishes to contact customers via email, respond to messages, or transmit information requested by a visitor, BeActive Clinic will use email.

Right of Rectification
If you believe that any Personal Data we are holding about you is incorrect or incomplete, you can request that we correct or supplement such Personal Data.
Right of Erasure

Our Personal Data Retention Policy
Confidential information recorded during consultations with clients is kept to form a history in order each person is given the most effective and safe treatment. We retain your Personal Data for a minimum of 6 years from the last treatment received at BeActive Clinic. This is a requirement by insurance companies and hence, we must be compliant.
In some cases, we retain Personal Data for longer, if doing so is necessary to pursue our legitimate business interests (but only if those interests are not overridden by your own interests, rights and freedoms), comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes or collect fees owed, conduct audits, or if doing so is otherwise permitted or required by applicable law, rule or regulation. Afterwards, we dispose of your Personal Data securely, but may retain some information in a depersonalised or aggregated form but not in a way that would identify you personally.
As stated above, you can request us to erase some or all of your Personal Data from our systems, and you can delete your account with us at any time, by emailing tim@beactiveclinic.co.uk.
Change of Ownership or Control
If we are acquired by or merge with another company, go out of business or enter bankruptcy, or sell some or all of our assets, your Personal Data may be sold or transferred in connection with the transaction in question. If such events do take place, this Privacy Policy will continue to apply to your Personal Data.
Revision of privacy policy
BeActive Clinic reserves the right to change this privacy policy at any time without notice and with immediate, retroactive effect on all User information previously collected. Each visitor agrees to review the website regularly for changes in the privacy policy and agrees to consent in advance to such changes. BeActive Clinic wants its visitors and customers to feel that their privacy will be protected when the visitor submits an enquiry online.
