Our body requires energy and fuel just to carry out daily tasks and sometimes we forget that when we exercise we may need to adjust the energy or fuel intake. Our practitioners are qualified to help with marrying up your fuel ‘income and expenditure’ so that you can optimise your activities and ensure you have the right energy levels to match.
As part of our Sports Performance Analysis we offer our Body Composition Analysis using our Tanita segmental analyser. This will provide you with accurate data on 12 different measurements including bodyfat, BMI, visceral fat, metabolic age and much more. Combining this analysis with our expertise will help reinforce your physical well-being.
There are three main macronutrients we need to perform daily tasks, being proteins, carbohydrates and fats. When exercising we need to consume the right proportions to avoid compromising our performance; whether it’s our first 5k, a long cycle ride, or a rugby match. We can also improve or enhance our performance with the use of ergogenic aids. This might be using energy gels on a run or before a game or maybe a post-game ‘smoothie’.
For more information on your body composition and dietary intake, ask any of our practitioners and they will explain the services we offer.
